Angola hosts international conference of southern African airlines

TAAG is co-organizing the 53rd edition of the AASA (Airlines Association of Southern Africa) General Assembly, an event taking place from October 5 to 8 at the Epic Sana Hotel in Luanda, bringing together several international delegations

Luanda, September 25, 2023: Angola is the host country for the 53rd edition of the AASA (Airlines Association of Southern Africa) General Assembly, a benchmark event in the aviation sector that will reflect on the development of commercial aviation in Africa. This annual event is being held for the first time in Angola, bringing together airlines, regulators, manufacturers, service providers, investors, diplomatic representations and government bodies. This event is a privileged platform for networking and strengthening relations between industry players, giving the Angolan aviation ecosystem, and the country, the opportunity to promote its strengths to the international community.
October 6, in particular, is reserved for the conference/debate cycle which will bring together more than 200 delegates and top decision-makers from the aviation industry, with various topics on the agenda, namely: competitive environment, connectivity, financing, supply chain, operating costs, regulatory aspects, growth and sustainability of African airlines.
