The Cathedral of Nossa Senhora da Conceição is a reference of the Catholic Church for the Angolan people. It is located in the centre of Dundo, capital of the province of Lunda-Norte. It has been part of the Diocese of Dundo since 2010, the year of its inauguration.
Given its importance to the entire Christian community, this religious place had an impressive inaugural celebration. The ceremony brought together bishops, ministers and governors of Luanda-Norte. Its grandiosity is recognized not only for being a catholic symbol; this is also a modern temple with a capacity of about 1 300 people and a privileged location.
The masses at the Cathedral of Nossa Senhora da Conceição take place from Monday to Friday, starting at 6:30 am.
