Behind Havana’s famous sea front there are historic relics such the city’s old Cathedral.

Walk through the quaint streets of Habana Vieja (Old Havana) and visit the Cathedral of La Habana, built by Jesuits during the colonial age. The cathedral was finished in 1787 and was even the resting place of Christopher Columbus’ remains before these were transferred to Spain. Despite belonging to the Baroque period, the Cathedral’s inside is classical in style, and decorated with frescoes.
