At the Parque das Nações, near the ocean, you will find one of the largest aquariums in the world. Here, you can learn about the lives of birds,invertebrates, fish, amphibians, mammals, plants and algae from all around the globe.
Both permanent and temporary exhibits will allow you to explore all of this animal life in detail, all within one of the world’s most realistic environments. Temporary exhibits include the world of turtles, tropical forests and a lot more!
This space allows activities for both kids and grownups, whether for leisure or learning. Enjoy guided tours, birthday parties, observatories, concerts for babies and even a night at the aquarium right next to the sharks.
If this doesn’t satisfy your curiosity, you may explore what’s behind the giant aquariums with backstage tours where you will discover how the sea creatures are fed and how water temperatures are maintained. You can also lend a hand with the animals’ daily routines.
Children up to 3 years old are granted free admission, whether at the aquarium or the exhibits. Ticket prices for those 4 years of age or older start at €9, up to €44 for a family ticket (2 adults + 2 children up to the age of 12).
