Feel São Paulo’s pulse on Paulista Avenue. The most emblematic Avenue, a cosmopolitan and cultural center, with three kilometers long!
Opened in 1981 as an elegant residential avenue, Avenida Paulista has become one main reference in São Paulo, due to its cosmopolitan atmosphere. In addition to a financial center, it is an authentic cultural diversity corridor that attracts any visitor, to better know the city essence.
Here, you can dedicate (at least) two days to know the whole offer of the Avenue. From exploring artistic works at the São Paulo Museum of Art (MASP) to discovering the Sesc Paulista cultural and educational center. Take a relaxed walk in Trianon Park, or contemplate exhibitions at Itaú Cultural, visiting the Casa das Rosas for literature and poetry soirées. The challenge is to walk through the Avenue from one end to the other. Places to visit are not going to miss, so it is decidedly a must see if you're visiting São Paulo.
With so many steps needed to walk along the Avenue, replenish your energies and take a break along the way. There are plenty of restaurants and bars, especially in the parallel streets, for a pause.

SÃO PAULO MUSEUM OF ART - THE MASP
The São Paulo Museum of Art is a symbol of São Paulo and one of the cultural strengths of the city, so you must visit it, especially if you are an art fan. Here you can admire works by Renoir, Rembrant, Botticelli, Velázquez, Titian, Degas and Manet. There are also interesting temporary exhibitions.
Designed by the Italian Lina Bo Bardi, the building itself is a hymn to art.
