Luanda, December 17, 2024 – TAAG and Lufthansa Technik recently signed a long-term agreement to provide technical services for the aircraft components of the Angolan flag carrier's new Boeing 787 long-haul fleet.
Starting with the arrival of the first aircraft in February next year and lasting twelve years twelve years, TAAG's Boeing 787-9 and 787-10 will benefit from Total Component Support (TCS) from the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) specialist.
TCS will enable TAAG Linhas Aéreas de Angola to access Lufthansa Technik's vast range of spare parts, increasing the availability of components for the Dreamliner fleet and creating significant cost benefits.

In addition, Lufthansa Technik will support TAAG in the Aircraft Production Inspection Program (APIP), supervising the production process directly at the manufacturing site until the aircraft are accepted.
This service will be provided for both the Boeing 787 fleet and the new Airbus A220, whose first equipment was received last September.
